  • I have more questions! Who can I contact?
    - Please reach out to USG’s Executive Director Drew Boe at drew@uncommonsg.org.
  • Which Ministries are involved in this conference?
    - This conference is put together by individuals from many different sports ministries and Christian leaders throughout college and pro sports. CWS is excited to gather individuals from many different ministries active throughout college and pro sports including Uncommon Sports Group, Sports Spectrum/ Pro Athletes Outreach, Nations of Coaches, Our Daily Bread - Power Up Sports Ministry, FCA, AIA, ADs 4 Christ, Faith & Sports Institute (Baylor), Baseball Chapel, Hockey Ministries International & SportsReach.
  • Where should I stay?
    - Please see the outlined hotel information section for details on the hotel block and shuttles.
  • What is the conference schedule?
    - The schedule will be announced in the months prior to the conference and will include several sessions from the main stage, worship, breakout groups, and meals together. The conference will kick off at 3:00 pm on Friday, ending the night with a social and dinner at Target Field. You can check out our 2023 Conference agenda here for a general itinerary idea. - Please note: There will be an optional outreach event, and worship service for those able to join on Sunday morning as well.
  • Who is this conference for?
    - This conference is for individuals working across any department or level within college and professional sports including individuals working in Front Office, Coaching, Administration, Operations, Equipment, Athletic Training, Marketing, Development, Facilities, Event Management, Media Relations, Scouting, Recruiting, Strength & Conditioning, Ticket Sales, etc. The conference programming is not designed for individuals presently working in full-time ministry, but ministry professionals working within college and pro sports are certainly very welcome and encouraged to join!
  • How can I further support this conference?
    We are still seeking Conference Sponsors. Please email drew@uncommonsg.org for existing sponsorship opportunities, or please consider making a tax-deductible donation by selecting “CWS Conference” here.
  • What airport should I fly into?
    - MSP (located approximately 20 minutes from the Conference Venue)
  • Am I able to consider this as a work trip that can be expensed?
    - This will vary depending on your organization and employer. While it is not the number one focus, there will certainly be many components of the conference that entail leadership development. There will also be relationship-building opportunities with professionals across all levels of college and professional sports.
  • What is the attire for the weekend?
    - Casual
  • What does the cost of my registration cover?
    - Thanks to generous sponsors and ministry supporters, your minimal registration fee covers the entire conference experience including all sessions, breakout groups, and meals! - Additionally, transportation will be provided to and from the hotel blocks to the conference center.
